My Work

My interests cut across many disciplines and may therefore at the surface appear scattershot, but they all share a common aim, namely, to figure out how to orient us concerning important values.
I sometimes refer to this as "MicroStrategy": the study of how the value of ultimate outcomes may be connected to present-day actions. My work seeks to contribute to this at both the object level and the meta-level.
Science fiction, Postmodern novels, Indian Literature in General and Gujarati Literature specifically are my areas of interest.
Moreover, my love for 'Folk Studies' is visible through the efforts I made at the KSKV Kachchh University through the establishment of 'Loksahitya Kendra' (Centre for Folklore Studies).
I have translated many works and soon this efforts will be visible in book form.
